Hello ladies I'm new here. I'm from the Caribbean so my options of donor sperm are limited and expensive. I want to have a child cuz I know I'll be a great mom. The men in my life haven't been up to par so I've decided I'm going this alone. Caribbean men really aren't open-minded about just providing a sperm and no attachment if there's a child. This baby will be 100% mine. I'll have support from family and friends. There aren't allot of groups on glow for women like me but for those of you out there I'd like the support. I'm doing my research online to see sperm banks in the usa. Flying overseas for the procedure is also an option. I'm thinking of self insemination if I go abroad. Otherwise I'd have to go through a fertility clinic. Either way a hefty price.

My one question is how do you tell the child who was conceived by donor sperm about the father.
