my jaw locks when I give head

So my boyfriend and I have recently started having sex. I love everything about it except every time I give him a blow job, my jaw locks and then I have to stop or it hurts him :( do I need to see a doctor for this or is it normal? I try to pop my jaw back into place after massaging it and it works..sometimes. But it really kills the mood when I'm in the middle of pleasing my man and I have to stop. Advice?
