Boyfriends birthday

So my boyfriend and i just started to go out.. And his birthday is in about two months but i get paid every two weeks at my job so it doesnt really give me much time. His birthday is on halloween and i dont know what i should do with him or gift him. Any suggestions? I dont want to overwhelm him with a crazy gift because christimas is two months after his birthday but i want to make his birthday really special because he told me he never had a special birthday. He is turning 20 if that helps for any suggestions. 😫😫
