college vs boyfriend

Okay serious talk I know it's long but please help 🙂 and I don't want judging. I am headed to college in the fall and I have been dating a guy for about a year. We are about as serious as it comes. I know what everyone will say ...you are too young... You don't know real love ... Blah blah blah but several people end up with their high school sweethearts , heck my brother is married for 8 years with two kids with the girl he has dated since he was 13 so honestly you never know ☺️ anyways I'm stressed Cause I need to choose whether to stay close to home for college to be by him or go to this other college 2 hours away. He isn't sure if he can do long distance but he tells me to not choose my future based on him . My head says that's logical but my heart (the thing that is absolutely in love with this guy ☺️❤️) Is saying don't lose him because of distance I get to determine. Can I have honest opinions on what to do or at least some comfort from girls who understand :/
