Any one else loosing hair?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant & I've noticed a lot more hair is falling than before. I heard that  hair doesn't fall out while you are pregnant. Is it normal? Does any one else have this problem?

Poor metabolism is the main reason for hair loss, which can get worse during pregnancy, as it's a huge stress on metabolism. 
High quality protein along with high quality fats can go a long way to helping. Although, it's impossible to say specifically what could be causing it for each person. Generally it's lack of quality food or poor digestion.

Not sure who told you hair doesn't fall out during pregnancy... I lost tons during and after pregnancy, then with breastfeeding it got worse and eased up once I was done. I'm now expecting our second and well my hair loss is insane! My midwife said its hormones and the changing, makes sense but every woman is different so who knows.

I've noticed that my hair is breaking a lot and some bits are a lot shorter than they used to be, like the under layer of my hair by my ears is now the same length as my fringe lol.

Some people do go bald during pregnancy, it's called pregnancy alopecia. But it's suuuuper rare, and it usually grows back afterward.
