Depo Pros and Cons?

Question

Thinking about switching from the pills. Just because I don't want kids doesn't mean I want to have a period all the fucking time 😡😡 so can somebody can tell me how the Depo is?

I've never heard a single good thing about the depo. 
I know many women who have had problems getting pregnant after getting off of it as well.

For me Depo waa the devil.. but i have heard other people who wouldnt go any other way. After 9 months of bleeding.. terrible depression.. becoming anemic..  and just a horrible time of it I came off it and was back to feeling great in a couple months.  I think if you want to try it.. try it... if it works well for you then thats great and if not then try something different.

Depo was hell for me as well. I bled for 6 months straight, became vitamin D deficient and also had alarmingly low levels of iron. Switched to the ring, it's been going great so far and some girls leave theirs in all 4 weeks to skip a period of that's what you're looking for :)

Depo cons is I use it and it makes my hair fall out and my periods are 14+ days long.

I had mine for 4 years after my daughter never missed a shot never gained weight or had a problem got it after my son and have missed the 2nd shot

I have tried lots of different birth controls. 
Pills -didn't help
Ring- I hated 
Patch- ended up pregnant
IUD- bled for a year straight also other complications 
Shot- no periods no weight gain but when I stopped getting the shots I had horrible withdrawls

Wanting to have no period isn't a good enugh reason to get on the depo. It messes you up bad.
