Do you like having tan or pale skin?

Question

The poll is for yourself, but comment on if you are more attracted to people with pale or tan skin. Why or why not? I personally have very pale skin- but I use self tanners because I like the look of tan skin better. My s/o has pale skin like me, but he's able to tan in the summer where as I just burn.

Pale and proud! I can't tan aside from spray tans anyway, and I'd rather embrace the porcelain than become a chemically treated oompa loompa personally.

I'm half Hispanic and one would think I would naturally be able to tan. Nope. I have porcelain skin. So I often use bronzer and go tanning. Even in the summer I burn. But my fiancé is able to tan no problem. He does roofing part time so by the time summer comes he's already pretty dark. Even now he is very tan and I'm like Casper

What bugs me is that I can kind of tan in the summer (but I'm still pale) but at a certain point I just stop tanning and start to burn and peel.

In the winter I kind of like to have pale skin because all my freckles fade 
But when I'm on holiday or in the summer I love having a tan but my freckles are everywhere ?

Here in Hawai'i, we get so burnt by the sun. And plus I'm Filipino. Which makes me look more black

My mom is irish so she gets pretty white but my dad is italian and he gets really tan.. so in the summer I gets super tan and in the winter I get super pale! Its so funny..lol

I'm super pale. The only thing I HATE about it is that my face turns red a lot. Especially if I laugh, yikes. I'm not really attracted to any color, I just like oval faces with wide noses and big lips. And anyone who looks like Seth Rogan, he's a heart killer lol

I'm naturally tan, though when I lost all my weight, I started to get sick a lot more, so I look pale most days. I mean, it kinda sucks being naturally tan, then going to the beach and getting darker. It's not that awesome lol. Though what's funny is I had my daughter, and boy, she's pale. I'm hoping these babies will look like me.
