Sperm Analysis Timeline

My husband was out of town on a bachelor trip and when he came home I was sick with the flu 😔. They called today to remind us of his sperm analysis on Wednesday. That will be day 7 of the 2-7 day abstinence period the doctor told us to abide by. Will it be a good or accurate sample? We rarely go that long, not only do I gave s grumpy hubby I'm afraid it will be a bad sample .! Any experience?
