no periods after depo injection

Has anyone else had no periods after the depo provera contraception injection? I never had periods on the injections at all. My last injection ran out in June and I've still not had any periods since! I've done tests and I'm not pregnant. Has anyone else had experiences of this and can shed some light on when I might get my period back?
