BV and TTC

So I'm not sure if anyone will know the answer to this. I have read everything there is to read on Google already, but my husband and I are starting to ttc and I was diagnosed with BV. I used the metrodinazole vaginal gel for 5 days (have also started taking femdophilus probiotics as well as prenatal vitamins) and I started on the 3rd day of my period as I never really have a heavy flow and was hoping to still be able to ttc this cycle. My last insert was last night and my fertile window starts September 4th. I was wondering if anyone knows if this will affect our chances of conceiving this cycle. I know BV can recur which scares me, but my husband and I have been together for 5 years and I've never had it before. Only thing I can think of is last month I fell asleep a few times after bd'ing rather than cleaning up in the restroom. Any information or thoughts would be wonderful. In starting to go crazy with panic over this BV issue. Thank you so much!
