Help me plz!

Ok so I am curious of others experiences. I am five days late took a PT and it said negative... Is it too soon to tell? Also I haven't had a period but on the day I was supposed to start I had a pinkish discharge thought my period would follow however NOTHING... What should I do. My doctor won't just do a blood test so now what.... Just wait? If so how long? Or how frequently should I test?
