Is it hard to drive an hour and a half/2 hours?

So I just got my license in May (I'm 17) and my long distance boyfriend of two years just got his in June. He lives 3 or so hours from me so we were thinking maybe we'd meet in the middle. I love driving but I'm a little scared of driving long distances by myself. Is it hard to drive for an hour and a half - 2 hours?

Not hard but I definitely wouldn't recommend doing it just yet, give yourself a few more months to get a little used to the roads/different types of roads and traffic conditions/driving at night/weather conditions etc. before you embark on this little road trip of yours. When I first got mine I used to drive 50 minutes to my friends place every weekend and it used to give me anxiety the first few times but you get used to it with a little experience.

You're both babies behind the wheel really. You just started so I wouldn't suggest driving long distances alone just yet. I'd say to have your license for at least a year so you have time to get used to driving and won't be as nervous any more. Don't travel alone until driving is boring and you're completely comfortable and confident in yourself.
When you do start taking long drives - get a good night's sleep the night before, bring water, snacks, phone charger, good music,an actual paper map (phones die, paper maps will stick with you), have directions and a GPS with you if you can, and know where you're going beforehand. Stay focused and if you feel sleepy (especially when driving home), TAKE A BREAK, pull over and nap if you need to. No need to push yourself and put your life and the lives of others at risk. And never NEVER drive when you use your phone, drink, or do drugs - any and all recreational drugs and any medication that may direct you not to drive when using it. (Not saying you do, it's just always good to note.)

I got my license in April and just drove from California to Virginia. If you're comfortable with driving an hour and a half is not to horribly scary or to long.

Once you're completely comfortable with driving, its nothing! Until we got married, id frequently drive 6 hours each way to visit my husband, sometimes after school.
I've also done 9 hours by mysef.
Its not bad, just have snacks, some water, sleep well the night before and know exactly where you're going.
I always brought my car charger too so i knew I'd have my phone for maps

That far yu should always have someone with yu .if yu do get tired yu two could switch or if yu have a flat tire or run out of gas , yur not alone .if yu don't drive long distance , maybe 30mins on a daily basis. The drive may be tiring .. in every city yu have to adapt to the way the ppl drive. Going through big cities it maybe lots of road rage or small town were yu have to do exact speed limit or yu will get a ticket.
