How long to conceive?

Hi all. My husband and I are at month 5 of trying to conceive and I took my test yesterday and again... Not pregnant. It's so frustrating... I track everything, we have sex at least every other day. I'm 29 he's 25 and we're both in good health. When do you include a doctor in helping??

I'll put it this way. My boyfriend and I had sex multiple times a day for over two years unprotected and never got pregnant. Then all of a sudden. Bam, three babies three years in a row. A 2year old, 17 month old & 3 month old. Sometimes it just takes a while.

Dr's won't step in and start any fertility treatments until you've actively been trying for at least a year. Actively trying includes but is not limited to visiting your obgyn for regular checkups/any diagnoses of pcos or endo etc, using opks, tracking bbt, recording cm consistency, and frequency of sex to completion. It's recommended to have a daily planner to record everything in that way IF you end up having to go to the Dr they'll have hard copies of your information.

It took me 1 and 1/2 years to conceive my first with no doctors help at age 34. My second only took 5 months at age 36. With use of this app.

It took my SO and I a year to get pregnant the first time (lost the baby at 11w5d) it than took us 8months to get pregnant the second time (lost that baby at 10w2d) we're now on our second month of TTC after the second misscarge. It takes time just have patience and enjoy the fun along the way.

Hubby and I tried for a year, (tracked nothing though) then I decided that it was time for me to focus on me, told my husband I was going to eat better, work out more, and not stress it.. 4 months later, we were pregnant! We were barely having sex, so I was shocked..

It takes a healthy couple up to a year to concieve and most doctors recommend that long before getting tested for factors that might be effecting fertility. Remember the chances of getting pregnant in any given cycle are somewhere between 20-40%! It took us over a year to concieve our daughter, and I did all the recommended things and tracked like crazy. We were both 22 at the time.
