Army /induction

Do you think doctor would induce a few days early IF baby has not come on her own by then, my fiancé Has to go away for a few days or so for the army and his Sargent said " they might let him leave" if I have her while he's there but didn't say he could. He has to go a few days before her due date so it wouldn't be a major thing I don't think the doctor should have a problem with it
