Subchorionic hemorrhage

I was wondering if any of you ladies have experience with subchorionic hemorrhages? I found out yesterday at an ER visit (I thought I was miscarrying) that I had bleeding due to a subchorionic hemorrhage. They made it or to seem like not a big deal but the ultrasound tech said that sometimes they put you on progesterone. I have a doctors appointment this week but I was just curious what experiences people had have. I guess I should also say that I'm only 6 weeks pregnant but after seeing a heart beat it was so real and now I'm worried that this could lead to a miscarriage
