cats?!

I just started a new really good accounting job, and it's at a older lady's house

(it's normal to work out of a home with a accounting & tax business)

I really like the job, and she wants me to take over her management position eventually...

Problem is. She has 4 cats!! And I'm 8 almost 9 weeks pregnant, is this bad???

No! Just don't clean their litter box without gloves and or washing your hands after and be careful not to touch your face before washing your hands if you do touch their litter. (Assuming you won't even go near their litter box since your job has nothing to actually do with the cats).

I'm around cats almost all the time. I'm fixing to be 27 weeks. My OB hasn't said anything negative about it. Just watch for ring worms!

I've got 3 cats that I take care of entirely. They sleep up in the bed next to me, I clean their boxes and handle the litter all on my own (which is really all that you're supposed to "stay away from"). You will be fine.  😂

Its not the cats you can't be around sweetie its Ammonia in the litter box that you can't clean.

I have two cats.  Everyone says that's fine as long as I don't do the cat litter. They have a bacteria in their urine that's harmful to the baby and that's why they say don't do the cat litter but being around cats are fine

I have a cat. I have had her since she was a kitten and she is 5 now. I had her with my 1st pregnancy and my son is fine. You just can't change the cat box.
