What was reasoning/inspiration for your baby's name?

My sons name will be Hendrix Zakai
Reasons for Hendrix: 1) Me and the sperm donor are HUGE Jimi Hendrix's fans. Its actually how we started dating over the love of him. Although we aren't together, he still blessed me &&' because of Jimi Hendrix I get my son.
2) like I said, HUGE, 60s and Hendrix fan... So months before getting pregnant, I did shrooms for the first time lol. At my peaking moment, someone put on Belly Button Window by him. If you never done psychedelic, its hard to understand or explain the feeling, BUT I felt every single word in my heart and soul. I cried the most beautiful tears I have ever cried. I felt inner peace and genuine happiness, and it was all just so overwhelming and amazing for someone like me.. So he has made an even bigger impact on my life and has helped me heal through that experience and his music. 💙

Reason for Zakai: 1) it means blameless and pure..  His dad was saying that he was going to ruin both of our lives and so much negative and unnecessary things. He said, having this baby is the reason he left... However, I have never blamed my precious gift for his dumbasses absence.. My son is blameless and pure.

Rhyeland was a place I visited in Thailand when I was 3 months pregnant. It was a sanctuary for the country people who couldn't make it to the city to the big temples. My son is my sanctuary through all the bullshit I've been through since getting pregnant with him.

My son's name will be Lorenzo because the name runs in my hubby's family (his middle name, his dad's name, grandfather, ect.). I'm thinking about his middle name being Allen to honor my father as well💙

Our daughters name will be Lilly Harper.  My husbands grandmother use to call his grandfather Lilly for a nickname and his grandfather was the world to my husband.  I've always liked the name Harper so that's how we both contributed to her name

Selah after doing a Bible study of Psalms in college. Rose because my husband and I are highschool sweet hearts and on our dating anniversary he would bring yellow roses. No idea what to name this second sweet baby girl though!!

My daughters name will be Nia monique. Nia means purpose in swahili. This baby was a surprise and i was taking precautions not to get pregnant because I already had a 9 month old when I got pregnant. I was very worried when I found out I was pregnant again, but because of how everything happened I do believe my baby has a purpose to be here, so I chose to name her Nia. And the name Monique is my younger sister's name. She past away 9 years ago at the age of 16 in a car accident. So to honour her, because my daughter will be the first born girl into our family since her passing I've chosen Monique for my daughters middle name.

If we have a boy he will be named Parker Lawrence because Parker was my fiance's grandfather's name. And Lawrence because my fiance's middle name and his father's middle name is Lawrence.
If we have a girl, her name will be Oriana Kristene. Oriana, because my grandfather's middle name was Ora. He passed away when I was really young and he never saw me grow up and I wanted to tribute him. We feminized it by putting my grandmother's name, Rina (I'm also named after my grandmother with my middle name being Rinae.) We picked Kristene because that's my mom's name, and I always wanted to name my daughter after my mom.

When my husband and I were dating, and knowing we were probably going to get married, were sitting around a fire talking about hypothetical baby names.  I told him I like the sound of first and last names with same initials i.e. Pepper Potts (we had just watched iron man lol).  His (now our) last name is Weekes....so we started throwing out all these W names (there aren't very many lol) I said Wilhelmina, he said Winter....they have stuck with us now for over 5 years cause our daughter is going to be Wilhelmina Winter Weekes!  Willa for short.  Triple Dubs 😺

I've had 2 miscarriages so we've had our names picked for awhile, just haven't been able to use them. (Both losses were before gender could be determined.)

Alexander James- Alexander is an old, strong name, to withstand everything we've been through and all our history. James because that's my husbands name and I have always loved that name.

Kaitlyn Jean- Kaitlyn because we both have a Kate or Katie that is important in our life. Jean was my grandmother's middle name.

1) Nash after Crosby, Stills, and Nash, who are one of my all time favourites
2)Eli came from a dream I had before we knew the gender. It was the only dream I had relating to pregnancy or babies. I dreamed I had a son named Eli. Of course my so hated it but since my delivery was pretty traumatic (long story short, I almost died from blood loss) I got to pick the middle name

Logan James. Logan from wolverine, i have read the wolverine comics since i was 13 and he is by far my favorite comic book character. I have wanted a son named Logan for so long there was no choice. James is a family name on my husbands side, also happens to be Wolverine's christian name so my son gets both!! Yay!
