Femara / Letrozole testimonies?

Hello ladies! After having a 15 & 11 year old, I gave been TTC with my DH for 6 years with no luck. Because my husband does not have any children, we thought that he was having trouble with his "soldiers"... I mean, after all I do have 2 kids, my period is always on track, so many would believe (myself included) that I wasn't the one having complications. But No, that is not the case. My husband was tested and he is perfectly fine and as it turns out I am experiencing inconsistent ovulation. So today my doctor has put me on Femara and I was wondering how effective this pill is? Side effects?  Any and all comments are very helpful! Prayers and baby dust to all!! 👶🏽

I've been on clomid and now Femara. The Femara is leaps and bounds better with the side effects. I'd say they are minimal. I experience ovary pains here and there. I'm also in the small group of women that experience pains during ovulation. and am usually bed ridden for a whole day. Femara makes that worse, but I think that means it's doing its job. Good luck!

I tried femera this month with IUI and a trigger shot. Waiting on my BFP still but I think I'm out this month. But I found the side effects of femera to be minimal it gave me a few hot flashes mostly in the morning, but all in all it wasn't bad! And it was way better than clomid which have me horrible hot flashes even for days after stopping the meds. Clomid also made me moody and want to cry all the time. It also dried up my cm which femera didn't. Best of luck to you!
