Jealous cat maybe?

So my precious cat is acting super weird here lately.  She follows me around everywhere constantly meowing.  When I go to the bathroom she has to sit on my lap, when I'm eating she is trying to sit on my lap.  When i sleep she is above my head or on my chest.  She has always been super clingy to me just never this bad.  Could she actually know something I dont or is she just aware baby will be here in 6 weeks or so?

Pets normally sense something is different about their owner especially when the owner is pregnant. They can be rather territorial and protective. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

My cat was all over me when I first got pregnant and then shortly after started avoiding me and not wanting anything to do with me. Just recently he is being super loveable again and won't leave me alone. I'm guessing he knows it's almost time for something to happen he's just not quite sure what he's in for.

My male cat has always been clingy, but not my girl. She's always been very aloof. Since I got pregnant she follows me constantly, and even randomly will come into the bedroom and meow in my face then run away. Sometimes she even comes in and will lie with us for a little bit which is unheard of since the bedroom is her brothers room and she is NEVER willingly in our room. I'm interested to see what happens when baby arrives. My boy cat likes to go into the babies room, sit in the middle of the floor and give me the stink eye. I feel like he's going to be a jealous little stinker.

My cat has been the same way, which is totally out of character for her. She usually is NEVER clingy or needy and she will not leave me alone. She's literally my shadow

My cat signaled in a way that my sister was in labor . she didn't leave her side . same day she started having contractions

I wish my cat was like that, instead she has gotten very violent towards me... she will run across a room and attack me, she will hide in our kitchen and when I come out of our bedroom she runs straight for my feet and trips me, plus she purposely spills her water dish on feet while I'm cooking doing dishes and one day I ended up slipping landing on my back because of it:(  I'm pretty sure she is just jealous and I hope she stops this when my little man is born!
