So happy I stopped taking BC
While I was taking the BC I had tons of dreadful symptoms. I never thought it would be from my BC though! I had horrible acne about a week prior to AF and during AF week. I'd have horrible backaches and cramps for the first 3 days and quite often cramps for 2 days before AF, sore boobs and some serious bloating. I also has some serious PMS and mood swings. I also had a heavy flow for the first 3 days. Only bonus was my period was 2 days shorter.
I stopped taking my birth control a couple of months ago and I'm so glad I did. AF is soooo much easier now and it doesn't worry me! I get a little bit of PMS but nothing like it was, no cramps or backaches, very minimal bloat if any, my boobs aren't sore, but I still get a little bit of acne but it's much better than what I was getting.
Best decision I've made in a long time. I can't believe how many symptoms have stopped since I stopped taking my BC
