Spotting/vaginal bleeding

Y'all I'm so concerned/nervous/terrified. I'm 12 weeks pregnant & started spotting 2 nights ago. It didn't continue until the next morning, but kept happening at night. Tonight is night 3 that it's been happening, but the spotting got a little heavier & even a bright pink/red color. It's not as heavy as my normal period though. I'm not having killer cramps either. I've been reading that vaginal bleeding can be normal, but I'm still freaked out. My pregnancy has been pretty awesome so far with very few symptoms. It's Friday evening, and Monday's Labor Day. My MD office recommended me coming in for an ultrasound when they reopen on Tuesday. TUESDAY. How could I possibly wait that long? I'm going to call urgent care centers tomorrow to see if they have an ultrasound machine, but an ER visit will be too expensive for us right now. What do y'all think? Did you have any bleeding? It's strange that I've had a relatively easy pregnancy but am now dealing with this.
