No Clomid This Month

So.....I have crazy bronchitis and the doctor put me on four different meds. Earlier in the day my ob/gyn called in my Clomid. Same pharmacy. So I went to pick them all up. Paid for them. Waited to talk to the pharmacist. Wanted to know that I could still do Clomid with all of this. (It was cycle day 1 and the doc for my bronchitis meds made me swear to pee on a stick before starting; bfn, btw.) The pharmacist freaked out that I would want to and that I wasn't skipping months between clomid cycles. I called the ob/gyn to get his opinion. He said take them. My hubs is freaked out about what the pharmacist said and that I'm so majorly sick. He said to skip this month. Thoughts? Has anyone else been in this same boat?
