Feeling like a failure

I feel like I failed my unborn child her dad just won't speak to me at all for no reason. I try with everything I have to move on and it bothers me about how I will raise my child knowing her dad is alive and well and she has brothers she probably won't  even meet besides his family, do I contact his mom even though I've never met her ? Or Sister I'm so confused or just let it go ?
