What formula?

Hi moms. So I'm not making enough milk to keep my son satisfied :(

He's hungry every hour all day and night and eats between 2 and 4 oz when I've pumped and can see how much he's getting. I guess there aren't enough nutrients in it? So I want to start supplementing with formula during the day and breastfeed at night.

What formulas are best for combination feeding? I know all babies are diff but so far I've seen enfamil gives a lot of babies gas. Please, constructive comments only. I don't need anyone griping at me about "breast is best", I know that but I just can't keep up and I need to keep him fed and me sane!

I use goats milk formula. The fat globules are smaller and easier to digest then cows milk and are therefore closer to the composition of human milk. Kabrita or Holle are goats milk formula brands that I know of.

We use Gerber and we're both happy with it. I breastfed for 4 months and my supply started decreasing rapidly. I started her on Gerber Gentle for Suuplementing and then at 5 months just used Gerber Gentle.

Depending on the age, your baby may be cluster feeding to help increase your milk supply. How old is your baby? Chances are if you are exclusively breastfeeding then your baby is just trying to increase your milk.

I'm actually going through the same thing mama. We are using Enfimal powder. What I do is 2oz of power (1 scoop) mixed with 2 1/2 oz of breast milk that I've pumped. I give him that maybe twice a day and once at night. The rest of the time I breast feed. Hope this helps!!

My daughter ate every hour until she was 3 months old and she has now went to 2 hours and she definitely gets enough my nephew even did that with formula.
