First love

Please no hate because I can't control how I feel.. The truth is I don't see a future with my boyfriend. We have been together for 2 years, he treats me like a princess, we bicker a lot but never anything serious, and I'm relatively happy! But. I'm in love with my best friend. And even though I won't explore those feelings anytime soon (because he has a girlfriend) I still don't think it is right to stay with my boyfriend when I don't see a future with him and when I am having feelings for someone I see regularly (because all our friends hangout together). I just don't know how I am supposed to break up with someone I have spent 2 amazing years with, who has done nothing wrong and who I love very deeply. I'm just not in love with him. I feel so awful that I will have to hurt him and I also am terrified of how heart broken I will be as well. But I know it needs to happen. Help please if anyone has been in my situation.
