Engaged no ring

I have been with my fiancé for 3 years. We've been engaged for one but when he asked he never bought a ring. At the time he was low on money. Now I understand that I don't need a ring to make it official. Now it's been a year and he hasn't even put a downpayment on a ring. I don't want to be selfish and ask him when he's going to but I'm annoyed because he bought a wii u. He's buys games for his PS3 all the time and mind you the games are $60 a piece. Then he wants to buy a motorbike and now this week he wants to spend $400 on a ps4. Meanwhile I've been pregnant duet October 1st and I haven't bought anything for myself because all my spending by towards the baby. I feel like he's blowing money on himself and I'm never going to get a ring.  Is it selfish of me to want one? I mean or at least for him to put a downpayment on one? Should I put my own downpayment on a ring?
