New job or Not

I went for an interview few weeks back got a call back the following week with positive feed back, went in to meet with the guy and meet another supervisor he called it just a formality. It was more like a second interview. The funny thing to this story is every time I talk to this guy he has me calling him. Like he's extremely busy. I have a part time  job currently (but work full time hours) but wanted to transfer there better opportunity less stress and more money working smarter not harder. I met with them last Tuesday he told me to call him Wed/Thurs but if I didn't get in touch leave a message but also he would be out of town for business Friday... Here we are a week later he never called back. I want to call him back this morning. I'm a little nervous I'm 22wks and I haven't told but I wanted to wait til the process was somewhat moving along if not I can go ahead and commit to my parttime as fulltime job. Why is this so complicated to work.
