When is a good time to tell?

This is my first pregnancy and I'm so overwhelmed with excitement it's hard keeping it in! I told my parents but with friends and extended family I'm unsure.

I couldn't hold it in. We told parents and close friends (basically the people we would tell if something went wrong as well). I am waiting to tell everyone else till the 12-week mark. I might tell my grandma sooner than that, but probably not for quite some time just to be on the safe side.

We waited until 8 w to tell my brother and sister and 12 weeks to tell friends. I didn't announce on social media until 16 weeks
