Orgasm during sleep - is it normal?

A few nights ago, I awoke to one of the weirdest things that has probably ever happened to me. Like any other night, I was sleeping and just dreaming about random shit. And let me just add that my dream was NOT dirty or sexual in any way. I was dreaming about robbing a bank - dumb, I know. In my dream though, I had gotten caught and was being searched. I remember feeling like my adrenaline had kicked in, and I was breathing kind of heavy. The next thing I know I'm having and waking up to a freaking orgasm.

I researched it because I mean what else was I to do . Supposedly it's normal, and most women experience it at least once in their lifetime. Weird, right?

Has this ever happened to any of you?

I always wake up RIGHT BEFORE!! So frustrating...so if you actually had an orgasm, just be thankful and how it happens again! :)

To me it's something that exicites you, say for example my wife likes to be choked she says she has exploding orgasms when I do it. So getting caught and the fact you're being searched turned you on.

I woke up to an orgasm when i dreamt of my boyfriend cheating on me. Not an exciting dream at all, but im pretty sure the adrenaline rush caused it. Ive heard its pretty common, you're fine :)
