Did you get the HPV vaccine series?

Question

I came across a post on Facebook today about the HPV vaccine Gardasil and how it has seriously damaged or ended many young girls lives. It can cause long term nervous system damage which have left many young girls who were previously healthily, paralyzed, having seizures and unable to attend school. Doctors tell us these vaccines are ok and I know as a teenager I received the same 3 rounds of shots and I am very thankful I didn't not have any sort of complication. (Hopefully no long term baby making complications in the future) I just wanted to know how many girls have received this vaccination and had no serious issues or and other stories, as well as any opinions on the topic of  synthetic vaccinations in women and children.

I got them. The worst I got was a really sore arm. As far as I know my ability to get pregnant should be normal. I wouldn't fret too much about the reactions some people had; it happens, not often but it does. Sometimes it doesn't work well in people's bodies, but that's why we need to vaccinate. Those who are able to get the vaccinations are helping those who are unable to get it, for whatever reason.

I got the vaccine as a teen and had no complications or reactions and it has not affected my ability to get pregnant either

I just got my first shot of 3 for hepatitis B. Next week is my second shot and in 5 months I get my third. I never experienced any side effects.

My mom never wanted me to get them but I started working in a Dentist office and so I have to have the vaccine to be on the safe side.

I was offered them but declined them. Thought about asking my doc for them when I was 18 but changed my mind.

Nope didn't hear about it till recently so I don't think they had that shot 10+ years ago. If they did then my mom didn't have me get them.

Got them when they first started giving them to the public (don't remember how long ago that was). Never had any side effects, though I have later on in my life developed POTS which I've heard is linked to the vaccine, though I asked the specialists for my pots about it and they said if it was a side effect it would have happened within the first few weeks of the vaccine. I've actually never heard that the vaccine caused such side effects until earlier this year.

Honestly you need to read the facts, not anti-vax propaganda, and talk to your doctor about the side effects and benefits. Everyone's body reacts differently. Vaccines are made for a reason, to prevent disease, but unfortunately they aren't fine tuned for everyone's immune system. That's just the way it is, survival of the fittest even on a microbiological level.  It's ultimately your choice to get vaccinated or not, and whatever the outcome of the decision is a gamble.

Nahh. I'm 21 and my doctor told me I can still get them. I declined because I'm not a shots person. Hate them and if it's optional I don't want it.
