pregnancy? Ideal during college or not?" /> I have serious baby fever and kinda want a baby but I'm a freshman in college. Is it ideal to have one or no?

Once you're in college you'll want to get out of there as soon as possible. A pregnancy will delay your process. Why not wait and prepare yourself as a professional first? I recommend you to focus on school(at least the 1st two years). There's a time for everything in life why rush it? God bless you

Not ideal at all especially when you're a freshman. You have to give up so much when you have a baby and college years are kind of like your selfish years. You need so much time to study but also be able to make a little time for fun. It's going to be very hard to study and do well in school with a baby. You want to be more established as well so you can create a stable environment for your baby. Just because you really want one doesn't mean it's a good idea. Just wait and enjoy college

I will tell you that I am a freshman in college who recently had a pregnancy scare. I ADORE children and have had baby fever for like forever! But, when I missed three consecutive periods and seriously thought I was, my true feelings came out. I've always said if I get pregnant, no big deal because I want a baby. But, when I actually had the scare, I realized that I am in no shape to have a baby. College is hard and can be stressful at times. That can be hard on a pregnancy and can cause tons of problems, miscarriage, or early labor. Saying that, there are people who get through this every day. You will know when you're ready, and if you're okay with the financial situation and the stress/work load, then that's up to you. Just remember, babies are expensive and need a lot of attention.
Now, my situation was very different, as the guy I would've been pregnant to has passed away. But I do know that I was terrified and realized that having a baby during college would be hard, and that I am not ready for it. Everyone is different, though.

im a freshman in college & its stressful. some days I feel too bad to go to class. then im always worrying about my grades & my health. lately something came up where I had to leave to visit doctors & im scared that im so behind in my work. stressing is bad but I can't help it.
