Ugh this is from my state. The police released this photo to show the devastating effects of heroin. Some back story, these people got pulled over after a cop witnessed them slamming on their brakes behind a school bus that kids were getting off of after school. The child in the back seat is the woman's son and has been taken by cps. Heroin overdose is a big issue in Ohio especially lately because cops have found out that it has been laced with elephant tranquilizers. It's so terrible addiction doesn't just affect the life of the addict.

First of all this picture looks incredibly horrifying but I wouldnt judge just like that because it could be something else as well and I havent seen that before so thats why I wouldnt comment on that picture.
Drug addictions are goddamn hard to get over with. I know it because my husband was addicted to drugs. Never too much that made him look like that and he didnt overdose but he had a big problem and he hated it so so much. 
He has always been a very thoughtful and nice and caring person and he hated those drugs but got addicted due to his really very fucked up past which still affects him majorly. Its not an excuse he says that himself but if I would tell you what happened you probably would say the same.
Anyways, he stopped when he found out I was pregnant. He is an amazing dad and he's very protective and takes so much care of the kids I wouldnt change a thing about him and I think without his past he wouldnt be like that.
Some people can stop that and some people cant. Its not about how much you love your babies its about biology. Do I think that kid has to be taken from that family? Definitly. But we should be careful whom we judge by what.
