Free bleeding?

I have this friend that posts pro free bleeding pics on facebook and it's gross lol and I just wonder like why? When I get my period pads absorb the blood and make it feel more comfortable why would anybody want to stain their clothes and sheets with blood and feel soggy and dirty and wet all day? Seems gross like why not just pee in my bed since it's natural after all and post pee free pics lmao i dont get it wtf do people actually do this? Is it for awareness or attention cuz comfort wise im sure it sucks.
