That your second baby comes faster and easier? I'm 37 weeks and 2 days, my mom keeps telling me that this baby will come faster and alot easier than my first. I was induced with my first at 40 weeks 1 day. Did anyone else have this experience with your first? Any advice on labor as a second time mom?

I have read that this theory is dependent on how far apart pregnancies are. Second labor & deliveries are often faster within a couple of years of the first. After about 4 years or so, it's less relevant and becomes less so, with each additional year separating pregnancies.

Not in my case. It was way longer and very much more painful and ended with an emergency c-section. The concept sounded nice when driving to the hospital for delivery with my second. Boy was I in for a surprise.

Not necessarily... My supervisor was in labor for 18 hours with her first and over 24 with her second!

My first came naturally at 37 weeks and was born within 2.5 hours. 6lbs 4oz.
My second came naturally at 41+3 and was born within 5 hours. 8lbs 9oz.
Both births were easy and fast.. but as far as times and gestational age, totally not true for me. 
I'm pregnant right now, with #3 and a bit over 40 weeks pregnant again. 
I believe every single pregnancy and birth is completely different and unique.

My first and second labors were 8 and 9 hours respectively... The first took about 45 minutes of pushing and the second only took about 20 minutes... So for me, pushing was easier, but labor was about the same.

Wasn't for me. 8 hour labor and very simple  delivery first time around; 12 hour labor and miserably difficult delivery with round two.

For my first I had a 22 hour labour with pushing for 2 hours. My second was done under 2 hours, both born on their due dates. Although my second was faster it definitely wasn't easier as there was no time to adjust to the pain. It was absolutely brutal!

My first was induced and took over 33hrs. My second was induced and took less than 10 hrs. Both at 39 weeks. This one I'll be induced at 39 weeks again and hope for a delivery like my second.

My sisters first labor was 11 hours her second was 41 hours... And she still ended up with a c-section after pushing for 2 hours. 
It can be true because you and your body know what to do more than with the first but it's not always true

Speaking from experience, it is not true. Not at all. At least not for me.
