Syptoms

So my Nurse Practitioner that I saw for my first appointment told me to watch for vaginal bleeding with cramps as the key symptoms to calling if I am worried about something. About a week after I saw her. I had weird cramping and pains, so I called, she said that they were nothing but that I just needed to watch for bleeding and cramping together and made it clear that she did not want a call from me unless that was happening, but then followed up by saying call for any other concerns.. are there any other symptoms I should be watching for other than bleeding and cramping? What are other women experiences? Being my first time, I am worried that I could be avoiding something that could be much more serious!
