Can we not attack people for being illiterate? Please? It is incredibly wrong to do so. We have every right to be offended by this persons way of life and things they have said to offend others, and such. But their being illiterate is irrelevant to the problem. They might not have had the chance to proper schooling, or might have a mental disorder (which I believe may be the case here).
