Clomid?

Question

What steps did you need to take in order for your doctor to prescribe you Clomid? Did your husband have to go/get tested also?

I'm wanting to see my doctor about us ttc for a year but my husband thinks we should keep trying naturally..we're 23 and 26..feel like it should've happened by now..

I or my husband didn't have to get tested or anything. I just told my doc that I had been trying for a year and they prescribed me clomid and Provera to help me start my period. Good luck to you!

I'm getting tested now and if everything is good w me then they are gonna test my husband I just had this done last week and if everything is fine then they will procribe it to u but there prob gonna tell u need to try for a year lol

Oh yea, I forgot to also add that I only used prenatal vitamins & I excercised/ate 3 meals a day. (Not always healthy food either) the last but most important issue I tried to maintain was staying stress free. After trying for so many years,I gave up and stopped trying just going with the flow etc. Finally I was pregnant!!

Don't stress to much over that.. I tried for years when my husband & were 1st married.. I thought something was very wrong with me because he had 3 children already from a previous marriage.. I was 23 and finally got a positive pregnancy test at the age of 29.. My son is now 4 and I'm working on baby #2 for him to have a bond with.. Good Luck,?Praying for you!!

You'll probably both have to get tested before they start treatment.  They need to figure out what is wrong before they give you medication.
