My boyfriend is so ready for marriage, and also so excited to have kids with me one day. To be completely honest I want to get my degree before even considering marriage or kids. I still have two more years until school is finished and to be completely honest I don't know if even then I will be ready for marriage. I'm 22 years old right now and I feel like everyone my age is getting married or having kids. Is this weird that I have no desire to do any of that right now? Help, I just feel so out of place and I have tried to explain the way I feel about it to my boyfriend, but I don't think he's getting it.

I got married at 22 (military relationship). I had my first kid at 24. My best friends didn't get married until 26 and had their first kids at 28/29. Everyone is ready at different times. You're still incredibly young to be worrying about things like marriage and kids. When you're ready, you'll know. Just breathe and focus on what you want to get done first 😀

You are ready when you're ready. Don't stress about it! But make sure you are very clear with your boyfriend so you don't hurt his feelings if he asks you and you say no.

If he is willing to wait for you then he's worth it if not then let him go. No one can force you to get married if you don't want to. Do you boo. Get your degree!!!!
