Strep B positive!

Just left my appointment and I'm positive for strep B whatever that means, I'll have to go home and do some research! All they told me was that I would be given antibiotics (penicillin) when I get to the hospital! Anyone else positive and what exactly does that mean. Also someone finally listened to me and took me seriously midwife is doing lab work on my blood I've been telling them for weeks now that I have a rash and constant itch that is uncontrollable I've tried everything! Midwife told me it could be cholestasis smh something else i know nothing about. I'll have answers by the end of the week. Wish me luck! !
