Excited nervous and worried all at the same time!!!

I am 36 w & 5 d today but when i was 36 and 3 (sat. Night) i went to the hospital for contractions. I had just had my apt the thursday before that and baby had dropped, mucus plug out and dialated almost 2 cm. She even said baby was really low so i wouldnt have to push long when the time came. But at the hospital they said that my cervix was too high and was pushed behind the babys head so they couldnt get to it.. So they sent me home. Iv been having contractions ever since. I was told it is just my baby getting ready for labor but it worries me that they couldnt reach my cervix when 2 days before she said it was easy to reach..
