Question

So, I have a super sore nipple that was bleeding a few days ago, I've been trying to pump bc that seems to hurt less than nursing but it's torture. On top of this my supply has drastically decreased in the past few days & LO is super fussy. Any advice? 😩

Answer

I was just like you till I was recommended a nipple shied. I used it until my nipple healed. The pain persisted a bit but I would use it interchangeably, sometimes yes and sometimes no until I was able not to use it at all without experiencing discomfort. This was a long 3 week process but totally worth it because I haven't needed the shield since.
