how do I tell him?

My boyfriend is so certain that I am pregnant, because he thinks I've been acting differently and I'm not myself, but we have been trying for over a year now and idk how to tell him that I'm not sure I'm pregnant and we need to see a specialist..? I don't want to break his heart because he wants a baby as bad as I do..
