ughhh birth control

Waiting for my body to get back on track is the most annoying this ever. While on the pills I had a 28 day cycle, now that I'm off of them I feel like I'm going to have a 36 day cycle. I just want AF to be here already so my SO and I can ttc when he moves back down to Florida. Should I take opks everyday or just wait until after I get my period? Glow said my period was supposed to be last week and I didn't get it but I had horrible cramps and was PMSing like a mf.
