bestfriend

So I'm really confused I've been bestfriends with this guy for about 8 years we have been through everything together. A couple of months ago my boyfriend and I met up with him to catch up and hangout for a little bit he recently had just gotten out of a bad relationship so I figured he could use some cheering up. But ever since that day he's been acting totally distant and just weird torwards me and I'm not sure why. I've offered him to come over for dinner or for us to hangout and I won't hear back from him.
