Not eating due to heartburn any ideas?

4 days till my due date doesn't matter what I eat a small biscuit or a big meal I'm getting crazy heartburn and coughing up acid nothing is helping :( it's making me not hungry

Apples help! I have chronic acid reflux and I eat one if it just won't go away. Also, small sips of water or natural Apple juice. Milk is actually really bad for heartburn even though it takes the burn away. It forces your stomach to produce more acid to break it down. I also eat a piece of bread or a waffle to soak up all the extra acid. Don't know if it actually does anything but it makes me feel better lol

Same here!! I barely eat, especially at night.... I try to eat before 7pm

Tums smoothies...its normal, your lo is taming up all the space your stomach once had.  It will all be over soon...and you'll miss it. Good luck!

Zantac tablets, quick eze, there's lots of over the counter antacids. Heart burns horrible, head to the chemist and ask for something.

Sip on some milk and zantac... my doctor said you can take up to 2 - 150mg/ day (I've been using the 75mg)... you can get it prescribed if you have insurance, I was lucky and found some at the dollar store... can take about an hour or so to start working

I drink whole milk with every meal now to help with the burn just a little bit but if that doesn't work I just eat a few slices of white bread since that seems to be the only thing that won't give me heartburn

I feel ya!! I've been doing a light smoothie for dinner with nothing acidic in it and I still sleep on an incline under 4 giant pillows. It's definitely better than it was!
