My in laws are very heavy smokers and they've smoked in their house for years. When the door opens it's the first thing you smell. When we visit them I always have to take my emergency inhaler when we leave. My asthma doctor and my baby's pediatrician both say it's harmful to my son and not to let him be in there if possible. My MIL keeps throwing fits and complaining about how my SO and I make her come to our house instead of bringing our 2 month old there. She says I'm just acting crazy and trying to keep him from her which isn't the case at all! I just don't want anything to compromise my son's health and my SO completely agrees with me. She refuses to stop smoking inside so I refuse to back down and bring my son there. Am I overreacting by not allowing my baby in there or am I right?
