I try not to judge these days because when I was younger my friends and I were tittering about what we thought was a gold digger situation.... then we heard her call him dad ... 😱

A couple of years ago I dated an old guy that was not very good looking and I'm pretty and like to dress nice. I bought myself everything I own and I'm sure it looked off that I was with him but he was super broke and I wore all designer things

Don't be a dick. One doesn't have to have anything to do with the other, it only shows your shallowness. Looks might matter to you, but to me I find the heart is the only thing that needs to shine. 
I really hate that these double standards persist.
