Hurt by men. What next ? Girls?

Honestly I'm so scarred by how I've been treated by men that I'm seriously just thinking of packing that in and trying to date a girl as a one off , see if it is any different.

Is that a smart move or not ?

Cause men are idiots and its not be being immature I'm seriously considering it.

Some women are idiots too, it's not a man vs women thing. There are terrible people in both sexes who treat their significant other like garbage. The fact that you've been hurt by some men is not a good reason to start dating women. Because you are attracted to them would be and if you are seriously considering it, don't use the excuse "men are idiots" to do it.

There's nothing wrong with being curious - I would just tell any potential girlfriends that you're not sure yet so no one gets too serious and hurt. It's not like dating girls is a cure for some men being stupid, though. You'll find there's plenty of stupid girls too.

I think the "men are dogs, I'm switching teams" thing is insane. You can't just date someone that you have no attraction to just because they are different. If you are seriously considering dating women, think about how you feel about having a girlfriend. Do you see yourself as identifying as a lesbian or bisexual? If not, don't just rage date a woman. That's not fair to either of you, especially her. I AM bisexual, and I've dated both men and women before. Trust me. Women and men can be equally insane. It all depends on the person you date, not their gender. Both men and women can also be sensative, caring, and wonderful partners. Good luck and I hope you find someone who treats you like a queen. It's not men, it's whom you decide to be with, try to pick someone's else, because you feel hurt and want to try with a women, it won't be fair to her. What IF, she falls for you and your not serious, then you will end up hurting her the way they hurt you.
Yes some men are idiots, but be patient your is just around the corner, you'll see and if not what's meant to be will be,, love your self first above all and the rest will come.

I'd take a long hard look at yourself and your taste in men. If you have a "type" you should probably avoid it for a while and go for the opposite
