does anyone own a Doppler?

I would like to hear some feedback on what brand you like best & if you think their safe?

I have a Sonoline B pocket Doppler and it's worked perfectly 14 weeks onwards! It's great, it really keeps my mind at ease between my appointments! I highly recommend getting it!!

I have sonoline B pocket Doppler! I had a miscarriage prior to this so it's really helped ease my anxiety when I let it get the best of me. I was able to find the heart beat at 9 weeks, although it wasn't on the first try. I use it maybe once every week or so!

Yes and it's given me incalculable peace of mind. And I got the ok from my doctor. Sonoline B. I only use it once in a while for a minute or two. That said, you MUST understand that just because you can't find your baby with your own Doppler it doesn't mean there's any sort of a problem. And the heart rate it gives isn't accurate just fyi. I am also very thin and my doc said that directly contributes to how early I found my boy at home and how easily I continue to find him

I have the Womb Music fetal heart monitor and since 7 weeks I was able to find the heart beat . Of course now almost being 14 weeks I find it basically immediately . I normally do it once every week or two and count the beats and then when I go to doctor the BPM is almost always the same as what I counted .

I think it's great for peace of mind . Just don't over use it cause then you'll obsess over it.

But in general, I would highly recommend it to anyone . It is fun to have !

I have a Sonoline B pocket Doppler that I got around 12 weeks and it was difficult to find at first but now I'm 14+2 and can find his heartbeat pretty quick! I love having it because I'm a pretty anxious person, it helps put my mind at ease when I worry about him in there. Plus if I eat something sugary I can hear his little kicks and movements, I love having my Doppler! 😍😍

I bought mine when I was 9 weeks. I didn't try using it until my last appointment last week. I'm 13w3d now.

I watched my dr find the baby's heartbeat with the doppler and then she gave me advice on finding it on my own. The next day I tried it for myself and I found it in seconds. Super sweet to hear and it'll be reassuring until I can actually feel the baby on my own.💛

I rented one from babybeat.com. Got it when I was 10 weeks and it took a few days to find it. I check it once or twice a week. Waiting four weeks between doc appointments is too long! I only listen long enough to get a bpm count, so I believe it's safe in moderation. If you have a stethoscope you could try that. I haven't pulled mine out to test it, however.

I bought a generic one from eBay. Worst decision I made. All it's done is give me anxiety and panic. Almost 14 weeks couldn't hear it at all. Midwife said I should be able to. However we used hers at the office and still couldn't hear it. I had an emergency ultrasound within minutes. Baby was just fine , heart beating away. I wouldn't suggest using one until you're about 20 weeks and the baby is bigger. Mine decided she's going to sit in my back and it's hard to find her heart beat. Best of luck to you. I'd leave it to the precessionals, in my opinion.
