TMI Topic-no pictures because...eewww

So last night my SO and I had sex. He didn't finish inside me, so I know there is no semen left up in there. But after that I had a very restless night. Pretty normal-I'm 8 months pregnant. My stomach was hard and contacting all night. I know they were BH because they weren't painful at all...I only knew it was happening because I could feel my stomach tighten with my hand. It was no big deal to me...I know sex can cause contractions. I was able to fall asleep and get some rest.

I'm the morning I was still having a few contractions, same as at night, but super random. They were very irregular, and still not painful. 

Here comes the TMI part.

I went pee, and when I wiped there was a bit of blood. It was red, fresh blood. Still not overly concerning because i know sex can cause cervical bleeding. It has happened to me before.

When I went pee again about an hour later there was a bit of spotting still, but also some snot-like stuff. A pretty decent amount of it...not like my normal discharge.

I have had a few random period like cramps throughout the day and a few BH contractions here and there. But nothing worth going to L&D for. I left a message with my doctor asking if I should be concerned and I'm waiting to hear back.

But while I wait I wondered what your guys' experience was?

I'm super nervous aboutboreterm labor. I don't think I'm in labor; but idk if this is a precursor to it..
